XTEND-IT® is a spray dry gas "blanket" designed to protect and extend the shelf life of moisture sensitive polyurethane products (paints, plastics, rubbers, coatings, etc.) by displacing any moist air in the container it is sprayed into.
Applying the XTEND-IT® dry gas blanket to the unused open portion of a liquid polyurethane, before replacing the lid on the container, will significantly extend the shelf life of the product. You want to be sure to protect your investment, especially if you have very large (a gallon or bigger) sizes of these products.
It can be an expensive loss if you don't store them properly, so just a small amount of XTEND-IT® goes a long way to insure your product is safe and secure. Be sure to close lid quickly on product after spraying, and clean nozzle by wiping it on the outside to avoid cross contamination.
