Mehron Stage Blood With Capsules produce realistic results with vivid color and texture flowing properties. They are safe to use around children and pets, and easy to apply: simply open a capsule and fill one half up with the Mehron Stage blood, then close it by sliding the other half over it. Place in mouth and bite capsule to release blood for a spurting or spitting action. For a subtle bleeding trickle or oozing effect, let capsule dissolve in mouth to release the blood more slowly.
The capsules are made from food grade non-toxic gelatin, so once they are moistened by saliva they gradually dissolve and release the blood in the mouth. Filled capsules can also be used under a small simulated wound that needs to actively bleed. Just pre-moisten with a bit of water to soften the outside of the capsule, then puncture it so it will also slowly release the blood.
Capsules can be pre-filled several hours in advance of need and will hold their shape until used, provided they are not pre-moistened. Mehron Stage Blood washes off skin easily with soap and water, however it may stain some fabrics or surfaces, so test first before using. Package includes 6 fillable blood capsules and 0.5 fl oz bottle of Bright Arterial Stage Blood. Additional gelatin capsules, MM-1414, may be purchased separately.
