Mehron Coagulated Blood Gel is a very thick textured stage blood - much like a jam consistency - in a deeper red color that stays moist looking once it’s applied and in place. It has a sheen that looks like clotted or oozing blood, so it’s great to create the look of a fresh scrape, road rash, gashes, or cuts that stay in place for a coagulated or seeping blood look.
This product is ideal to use as a quick finishing touch with ready-made injury prosthetics, or applied to any wound simulation as filler material for realistic looking trauma. It is sticky, so it stays in the wound simulation just like real congealing blood, and will drip very slightly and slowly. It’s convenient to use in creating realistic looking bloody effects in staging disaster drills and training exercises as well as for film and TV use.
Corn syrup based, and non-toxic, it completely washes off skin easily with soap and water. Product may stain clothing, so test first before using. Use care when applying this product around the nose and mouth area. Do not use in or near the eyes.
