Paint and Powder FX™ Silicone Sculpting Gel is a part (A and B) platinum silicone set that is mixed together in equal amounts by weight or volume to create a thick textured gel. Eliminate spills, as this firm gel-like silicone has the texture of soft gel that is easily modeled. Once thoroughly mixed (recommend time 1 minute) it's ready to use to form or shape into all kinds of 3-D wounds, scars, lacerations or disfigurements for realistic looking results! This product is so easy to use without experience. Perfect for all casualty simulation effects. This product can be used inside. outside or on location. No extra tools needed accept a mixing spatula. Use what you need and save the rest on an as needed basis. Sculpting freehand is easy with this straight out the jar product. Mix on a palette or directly onto the skin. Important: After recommended mixing time of 1 minute (75 degrees with no humidity) the silicone begins to set up and cure into to a solid durable wear appliance in about 35-40 minutes. 35-40 minutes is an estimate based on the temperature of your environment. The warmer the room temperature (no humidity) the faster the cure. A great tip is using a hair dryer directly on your piece during curing time. This will decrease the set time to about 10-12 minutes. If you can't avoid humidity you should use a portable hair dryer to evaporate the moisture in the air. To add depth to your custom created appliance use Paint and Powder FX Silicone Sculpting Gel in the color Blood or BGE's Special Coagulated Blood, to add quick finishing and bleeding to your appliance piece.
