The numbers in the Telesis line simply represents the order in which they have been introduced to the market, and is NOT indicative of adhesive effectiveness, strength, quality, or performance. Telesis 8 Modifier/Thinner is strongly recommend for use in conjunction with the TELESIS 8 Silicone Adhesive to thin out the adhesive when necessary and maintain fluid consistency; as silicone adhesives tend to thicken when the container is repeatedly opened and exposed to air. It’s also the perfect choice to use as a primer for the skin surface before the application of the adhesive. To accelerate the drying time of Telesis 8, prime the skin with the Modifier and then apply Telesis 8 to the appliance. Once the two surfaces connect, the drying time will take only a few moments. The hold is incredibly strong but very easy to remove with Telesis Silicone Remover. Please note this modifier/thinner is not compatible with the former Telesis 5 and 7 Silicone Adhesives.
